Automatic-feed bending machine for high-volume runs
The HRT-D 300 is a floor-standing bending machine from Shannon Machines with automatic feeding and a conveyor belt, designed to bend acrylic and other thermoplastics in long production runs. It processes sheets up to 3,000 mm long and 1 to 10 mm thick (12 mm maximum) with bottom heating.
Its construction is based on the HRP 300, but without a top cover and with up to 4 heating lines and 4 roller clamping tracks. The transport system handles both large sheets and long series of small parts, with an output of up to 2,000 parts per hour.

Series production of POS, displays and signage
The combination of automatic feeding, a 3,000 mm working length and a distance between bends of 20 to 1,000 mm makes the HRT-D 300 a tool built for large batches of identical parts:
Displays and POS: catalogue displays, brochure holders, card holders and poster holders produced in long, identical series.
Signage and sign making: acrylic signs and visual communication elements with bends that repeat exactly from one part to the next.
Interiors and furniture: acrylic components and decorative pieces for projects that need many units with the same finish.
Large sheets and small parts: the same machine processes sheets up to 3 metres long or series of small parts fed automatically.

Adjustable conveyor belt for continuous sheet throughput
The HRT-D 300 is supplied with automatic feeding and an adjustable conveyor belt built into the work surface. This system keeps sheets moving continuously and is the basis of its productivity in long runs. When a job calls for it, the machine can also be operated manually.
Four bottom heating lines with independent control
It takes up to 4 bottom heating profiles, each with its own temperature controller. The profiles are easy to adjust and the heating wires are height-adjustable, so the temperature of each line can be set very precisely from the control unit according to material thickness and type.
Clamping rollers that keep the sheet flat
The removable top frame carries roller guides, with up to 4 clamping tracks, that hold the sheets in place as they move forward and heat up. This prevents the banana effect and every part in the series comes out with a straight bend.
Design and structure of the HRT-D 300 bending machine
Open 470 kg frame without a top cover
The HRT-D 300 shares the structural base of the HRP 300 but does without the top cover: at 3,390 x 1,300 x 1,060 mm and 470 kg, it offers direct access to the entire work surface. This heat-resistant surface combines several adjustable panels with a double parallel stop graduated in millimetres and inches.
230 V supply and modular growth
It runs on 230 V with a power consumption of 1 to 4 kW depending on the number of lines installed. The modular construction is internally prepared for additional heating profiles and control units to be added later, so the machine grows at the pace of production.
Expand the capabilities of the HRT-D 300
Accessories for cooling and adjusting long runs
From 1 to 4 heating lines: the machine accepts additional profiles and controllers to multiply the bends per cycle.
3 m VMD cooling accessory: designed for conveyor-belt benders, adaptable to T, L and U shapes, mobile and fitted with brakes.
Working length adjustment kit: creates hot or cold zones without covering the wire, in lengths of 65, 130, 220 or 300 cm.
Single contact line profile: for bending thin sheets or foamed PVC from 0.3 to 1.5 mm.

Both bending machines share automatic feeding, a conveyor belt and a 3,000 mm working length. The difference lies in the heating: the HRT-D 300 heats from the bottom side only, runs on 230 V and weighs 470 kg, an efficient solution for sheets up to 12 mm.
The HRP-D adds top heating lines, a 400 V supply and up to 8 controllers for thicknesses up to 25 mm. If production focuses on thin and medium-gauge acrylic, the HRT-D 300 delivers the same automation with a simpler installation.
