Equipped with a high-load capacity spindle on the Z-axis and a preloaded nut with internal ball circulation, this CNC milling machine guarantees high-precision machining and an excellent quality finish, along with very quiet operation.

The Z-axis travel, with a bridge clearance of 500 mm, provides a variable machining useful volume. Based on standard parameters, each BERMAQ VISCOM 5X CNC milling machine can be configured with different sizes (X: from 1,550 mm to 10,000 mm; Y: from 1,000 mm to 3,000 mm; Z: from 500 mm).

The Z-axis movement is optimized through pneumatic compensation, which helps extend its service life. Regarding the C and A axes, their movements are continuous, improving both production times and machining finishes.

The technical details that make the VISCOM 5X one of the most powerful and versatile CNC machines

The Z-axis movement is assisted by pneumatic compensation to extend the machine’s service life. The C and A axes have infinite movements to improve machining times and finishes. To ensure perfect interpolation of all machine axes, we perform a precision kinematic calibration to guarantee full synchronization of the machine and the movement of all axes (video).

The BERMAQ VISCOM 5X CNC milling machine features an 11kW milling head with HSK-F63 and liquid cooling, a tool probe for height calibration, a phenolic resin vacuum table with 8 automatic and independent vacuum zones (configurable from the control panel and even from the machining program), and incorporates threaded metal inserts for securing parts and fixtures.

It has a double revolver tool changer with a capacity of 16 tools located on the bridge, which can be supplemented with a 10-tool linear tool changer located on the bench (optional), offering a total of 26 positions. Thanks to the VISCOM 5X’s automatic centralized lubrication pump, this machine requires virtually no maintenance. One of the most innovative features of the VISCOM 5X is that it can operate autonomously, and with its remote control, it is possible to record and stream the entire process, allowing remote monitoring from any device and location (video).
