The Sniper series from Nettuno Sistemi is an industrial series of hot wire CNC foam cutting machines designed for companies requiring high volume production. It consists of three models: Sniper 120P, Sniper 400I and Sniper Infinity.
The main structure is built with large anodised aluminium and steel profiles, which provide robustness and stability. In addition, the table top is made of compact, high-density fibreboard.
These CNC foam cutters are known for their strength, reliability and versatility. They can be equipped with several additional tools to enhance the processing of expanded polystyrene, such as vertical rotary table, horizontal rotary table, carver, multiple wire harp, clevelin and are equipped with 4 independent axes, servomotors and friction wire drive.

Reinforced structure and precision guide movement
The reinforced structure of the Sniper series hot wire polystyrene cutting machines has been specially designed and built to provide strength and stability during the different cutting phases, and to adapt to all available options.
All Sniper series machines are prepared for the application of a horizontal lathe, a mitre saw, a multiwire harp and a Clevel®. The axes of these machines run on linear recirculating ball guides, ensuring high precision and smooth movement during long-term operation.
High-density wood fibre compact panel board
Nettuno Sistemi has chosen to use a high-density wood fibre compact panel board to provide a smooth, linear surface for placing the foam blocks or panels. This robust material can effectively support expanded polystyrene, allowing the operator to accurately cut even small foam shapes.
Automatic wire tensioning system
The Infinity Sniper CNC hot wire foam cutting machine incorporates an advanced "automatic wire tensioner", a product of Nettuno Sistemi's extensive research, which has been unsuccessfully imitated by competitors around the world. The PC-controlled Nettuno Tensioner allows the cutting wire to reach the maximum inclination between the shafts, without any restriction.
