The HRK 65 is a benchtop thermoplastic bending machine with top and bottom heating, designed for the precise and efficient bending of acrylic, PC, PVC, PS, PMMA, and other thermoplastic sheets with a thickness of 1 to 6 mm under standard conditions, and up to 12 mm in various configurations. Manufactured by Shannon Machines, it combines robust construction, adjustable temperature control, and a pneumatic upper frame with adjustable pressure bars that prevent workpiece deformation during bending.
The HRK 65 incorporates an electronic timer, foot switch, adjustable backgauge, and millimeter-calibrated ladder. The reflectors can be easily adjusted relative to each other, with a distance between 2 folds of 15 to 445 mm, and the heating profiles can be repositioned to suit each operation. Its modular construction allows for expansion with multiple heating profiles and additional control units.
