To meet PSD SAS’s 3-axis machining needs, BERMAQ built a 3-axis VISCOM machine equipped with 4 milling heads to cut technical foam, a key element for many sectors: packaging, furniture, industry, aerospace, and decoration. Each project has its specificities, and our CNC machines meet all requirements, offering tailor-made and high-precision solutions. Thanks to its 4 heads, the VISCOM milling machine can cut and machine 4 parts simultaneously, ensuring efficient and highly optimized production.

Machinable materials with the VISCOM and PSD SAS’s star materials

The VISCOM offers great versatility and allows precise machining of a wide range of materials. It handles polyurethane foam (PU) effortlessly, ideal for packaging, furniture, or industrial applications, as well as polyethylene foam (PE), known for its rigidity and ability to protect fragile parts effectively. The machine can also work expanded polystyrene, lightweight, waterproof, and with excellent insulation properties, as well as extruded polystyrene (XPS), highly effective for manufacturing insulating components, especially in car bodywork. Finally, the VISCOM also adapts to natural felts, polyester fibers, and other flexible materials widely used in home appliances, automotive, and construction sectors.
