The HRT 125 is the solution for companies that need to process thermoplastics in long formats with high material versatility and the possibility of expanding the machine's capacity without changing equipment.
Large-format signs and signage panels: precise bends in acrylic, PVC, and polycarbonate in a single pass
Displays and modular displays
Signage and lettering boxes: compatibility with a wide range of materials and thicknesses
Furniture and decorative panels in acrylic working lengths: working length cutouts
Pieces of Interior design in PETG and PS: materials that the machine processes natively thanks to its broad compatibility. Protective elements and functional components in PC: thicknesses up to 10 mm in maximum configuration. Large-format industrial prototypes and models: precise bending for design validation on full-size parts. Plastic components for diverse industrial applications: high-volume production with a machine designed for continuous demand. More productive than conventional bending machines.
The HRT 125's heating system is based on lower profiles composed of heating wires that are adjustable in position and temperature. Precise adjustment of the heating line allows working with materials of varying thermal behavior, from 1 mm sheets to 10 mm thicknesses, without the need for additional tooling. Each profile is positioned exactly where the bending must occur, ensuring localized and uniform heat application along the 1,250 mm working length.
One of the most distinctive features of the HRT 125 is that its internal structure already anticipates future expansion. Adding additional heating profiles or new control units does not require modifying the base machine: the internal design allows for direct integration. This reduces the cost of future expansion and eliminates the downtime associated with conventional equipment modifications. The configuration ranges from 1 to 4 lower lines, with top heating not available on this model.
The HRT 125 is built to withstand the demands of a demanding environment. Weighing 75 kg and measuring 1,470×680×160 mm, the machine combines structural stability with a compact footprint for a working length of 1,250 mm. Power consumption of between 500 W and 2 kW at 230 V reflects an energy-efficient design, reducing operating costs in long-running productions.
Unlike many benchtop bending machines that are limited to acrylic, PVC, PETG, PP, and PS, in addition to the usual materials.
The HRT 125 covers one of the widest ranges of materials in its class, with thicknesses from 1 to 6 mm under standard conditions and up to 10 mm in maximum configuration:
Polycarbonate (PC): high-strength engineering thermoplastic; suitable for parts requiring durability and greater thicknesses
PETG: material with good chemical resistance and excellent formability; PETG compatibility expands the possibilities compared to most bending machines in its class
Polypropylene (PP): lightweight and fatigue-resistant material; Common in industrial and packaging applications
Polystyrene (PS): versatile material for commercial and decorative applications; requires fine temperature control to avoid deformation
PVC: standard material for signage and lettering; excellent performance in multiple bends at production speed
The HRT 125's internal preparation for expansion allows you to adjust the machine to the current and future needs of your workshop without additional structural investment:
Up to 4 lower lines: capacity for parts with multiple simultaneous bending lines or more complex productions
Modular expansion without modifying the base machine: the internal preparation for easy expansions
Precise positioning of the heating profiles according to the type of thermoplastic and the working thickness
Temperature regulation for each material, from upper ends
Distance between 2 Sheets from 15 to 610 mm for maximum flexibility in part design

In the landscape of tabletop thermoplastic bending machines, the Shannon HRT 125 occupies a unique position: it is the machine that combines the longest working length in the HRT range (1,250 mm), which most competitors in the segment do not offer. Designed for workshops and factories that need reliability, capacity, and scalability, the HRT 125 is a long-term investment that grows with the company.
Comparison between the HRT 65 and the HRT 65 growth phase:
Working length: The HRT 65 offers 650 mm, sufficient for most small-format parts. The HRT 125 doubles this capacity to 1,250 mm. mm, eliminating the need for two passes or joining pieces for large formats. Fold distance: The HRT 125 allows up to 610 mm between two fold lines (vs. 445 mm for the HRT 65), essential for high-volume parts such as boxes, displays, or furniture elements. The 125 requires more space (1,470 × 680 × 160 mm vs. 835 × 580 × 160 mm) and higher power consumption (500 W to 2 kW vs. 300-600 W), factors to consider in limited spaces or electrical installations. Shannon bending machines: The Shannon range of bending machines covers the entire spectrum of thermoplastic bending needs: HR 50: bending machine Single-line tabletop bending machine for formats up to 500 mm, ideal for small-format applications. HRT 65: Modular tabletop bending machine for formats from 0 to 650 mm, specializing in thin sheets with digital temperature control. HRT 125: Versatility of materials and internal preparation for expansion. HRK 125-I: Double-sided heated bending machine (bottom and top) for thicker materials and polycarbonate, with digital display and parameter memory. High-volume serial production. The HRT 125 is the answer for companies that have outgrown the capacity of small-format bending machines and need equipment that can grow with them. Manufacturing, distribution, and quality assurance. The Shannon HRT 125 is ideal for plastics and lightweight materials.
