The longest table bending machine for large-format industrial production
The Shannon HRT 220 is the highest-capacity benchtop thermoplastic bending machine in the Shannon range, with a working length of 2,200 mm that allows processing of panels, furniture pieces, architectural elements, and large-format industrial components in a single operation. Its modular construction, already internally prepared for expansion with additional heating profiles and control units, makes the machine a production platform that adapts to the growth of any specific industrial facility. The machine includes a side gauge and a calibrated ladder in millimeters and inches, and allows adjustment of both the temperature and working height of the heating element for each material and thickness.
Compatible with a wide range of thermoplastics, including PMMA, PETG, PP, PS, and PC, it is suitable for interior design applications as well as industrial prototyping and plastic construction. Its power consumption of 1 to 4 kW at 230 V positions it as an efficient machine for its capacity category.

The HRT 220 is the benchmark bending machine for companies and industrial facilities that work with thermoplastics in formats larger than those covered by any other manual model in the range, opening up applications that until now required customized solutions or larger equipment. The 2,200 mm length allows for real-scale visual communication projects: Large-format panels and signs for facades, commercial spaces, and public facilities: a single piece without visible joints or seams. Display repeatability thanks to the modular configuration. Architectural signage in acrylic and polycarbonate: long folds with an optical finish without loss of quality. Furniture, interior design, and architectural elements. Large-format, real-size prisms without length limitations. Decorative and cladding elements in PC and PS: structural folds for high-end commercial and residential interior design. Architectural elements in plastic: roofing, protective coverings, and building elements requiring large-scale formability. size
Full-scale validation prototypes and models: the HRT 220 is the only manual machine in the range capable of processing parts up to 2,200 mm in a single pass
Plastic components for machinery, industrial equipment and industrial equipment mm, bent with precision and without deformation
Parts for construction and masonry projects: technical materials shaped with the structural robustness required by the end use
One of the most unique features of the HRT 220 compared to the rest of the HRT range is the system of reflectors that are adjustable from 20 to 20 mm. This feature allows the machine to be configured for parts of very different dimensions without changing components: from narrow parts to wide panels, all are configured from the same machine with a simple adjustment. The side stop and the calibrated ladder in millimeters and inches complete a precise positioning system for serial work.
The HRT 220's heating system is based on lower profiles with heating wires. The modular architecture allows for the configuration of 1 to 4 lower lines, covering everything from single-bend jobs to multi-line parts in a single operation. Internal factory preparation for expansion with new lines or control units eliminates the need for future structural modifications.
The HRT 220 is built to withstand demanding environments. Weighing 100 kg and measuring 2,530 × 1,000 × 185 mm, the machine offers complete stability along its entire working length, preventing sag or vibrations that could affect bending quality in large formats. Power consumption of between 1 and 4 kW ensures that sufficient power is always available to uniformly heat the 2,200 mm length of any material within the working range.
The HRT 220 operates under the widest working thickness range of any HRT model in the entire standard range. The maximum configuration reaches up to 10 mm, allowing for the use of technical materials in greater thicknesses when the project requires it. The distance between two sheets, from 20 to 800 mm, is the largest in the range, essential for boxes, displays, and large-volume structural elements.
The HRT 220 processes the same wide range of thermoplastics as the HRT 125, with the added ability to work with standard thicknesses up to 8 mm and formats up to 2,200 mm:
Polypropylene (PP): Lightweight and fatigue-resistant material; commonly used in industrial packaging, technical components, and construction applications.
Polystyrene (PS): Material for decorative and commercial applications; It requires precise temperature regulation to avoid deformation in large formats.
PVC: Standard material for large format signage and lettering; Excellent performance in long and multiple folds
Expands the capabilities of the HRT 220
Internal preparation for the expansion of the HRT 220 allows scaling the machine's capacity according to production evolution, without stoppages or structural interventions:
1 lower line: starting point for productions with a single fold per piece in large format
Up to 4 lower lines: capacity for pieces with multiple fold lines, such as boxes, displays or complex architectural elements
Expansion without modifying the base machine: the internal factory preparation allows incorporation of new lines or control units directly
Reflector adjustment from 0-2 part
Temperature and heating element height adjustment for each material and thickness within the range of 1 to 10 mm
Calibrated scale in mm and inches for quick and precise positioning in mass production

Ask for budget
When production needs exceed the capabilities of conventional format bending machines, the Shannon HRT 220 is the answer. With a working length of 2,200 mm, it is the highest-capacity manual table bending machine in the Shannon range and one of the few options on the market that allows processing thermoplastics in this format with modular under-bed heating, adjustable reflectors, and broad material compatibility. Designed for factories, large workshops, and industrial facilities that cannot afford the format limitations imposed by conventional bending machines.
The HRT 125 and HRT 220 share the same cutting edge. The HRT 220 solves problems that the HRT 125 cannot:
Working length: 2,200 mm vs. 1,250 mm. The difference is not only quantitative: beyond certain formats, the length limitation forces joining or double passes that affect quality and productivity. The HRT 220 completely eliminates this restriction.
Distance between folds: up to 800 mm vs. 610 mm. For enclosures, protective covers, and large-volume structural elements, this difference is crucial for design viability. Standard thickness: The HRT 220 operates optimally up to 8 mm (vs. 6 mm for the HRT 125), expanding the range of usable materials. Adjustable reflectors from 20 to 800 mm: An exclusive configuration system of the HRT 220 not found in the lower models of the range. The HRT 220 in the Shannon range covers the entire spectrum of needs: HR 50: A single-line desktop unit, up to 500 mm, for occasional use or confined spaces. temperature
HRT 125: Modular table up to 1,250 mm, maximum material versatility for professional workshops
HRT 220: Modular table for 2,200 mm, the format
HRK 125-I: Double-sided heating for greater thicknesses and polycarbonate, with parameter memory
DA: Automatic industrial folding machine for high-volume serial production
