The highest capacity floor bending machine for large-scale industrial and architectural projects
The Shannon HRT 300 is the longest and most powerful thermoplastic bending machine in the entire Shannon range. With a working length of 3,000 mm and a power consumption of up to 14 kW, it is the benchmark machine for industrial facilities, high-production workshops, and companies working with acrylic, polycarbonate, and other thermoplastic parts in dimensions that no other manual bending machine in the range can handle. Its floor-standing design facilitates the loading and handling of heavy and large parts without additional effort from the operator.
Like the HRT 220 and HRT 125 models, the HRT 300 incorporates a system of adjustable reflectors from 20 to 800 mm, adjustable tone and temperature control, and adjustable heating element height. The heating wires of the profiles are adjustable in height and temperature with high precision via a digital unit, guaranteeing repeatability of the result even on long pieces where heating uniformity is critical. The modular, expandable design, from 1 to 4 lower lines, already internally prepared for expansion, simplifies the process. Weighing 175 kg and with dimensions of 3,390 × 1,050 × 185 mm, it is the ideal machine for installations requiring maximum capacity, precision, and long-term reliability. The HRT 300 is the solution for companies and industrial facilities working with thermoplastics in the most demanding formats and thicknesses, where the length limitations or distance between folds of any other manual bending machine represent an obstacle to production.
The 3,000 mm length allows processing panels and visual communication pieces that until now required custom-made joints or equipment:
Signage panels for facades, airports, stations, and large public spaces: a single piece, without splices;exceptional-sized displays for trade fairs, shopping centers, and museum installations: long bends with high repeatability in serial production;
Large-format signage in acrylic and polycarbonate: clean pieces without visible stress along the entire length.
Large-scale furniture in acrylic and PETG: fronts, sides, and panels up to 3 m long without visible seams. Architectural and construction elements in plastic: covers, protective elements, partitions, and cladding in full-size formats. Decorative and functional pieces for large-scale projects: the distance between folds of up to 900 mm allows for the design of deep volumes. Industrial prototypes, technical components, and volume production. The only manual bending machine in the range capable of processing 3 m pieces in a single operation. Plastic components for machinery, transport, industrial equipment, and construction: PP, PETG, and PC in thicknesses up to 10 mm with guaranteed dimensional accuracy of up to 4 lines below.
On a 3,000 mm machine, temperature uniformity along the entire length is critical for achieving consistent folding from end to end. The HRT 300 addresses this challenge with height- and temperature-adjustable heating wires controlled with high precision via a digital unit. The operator accurately controls the thermal profile of each heating line, eliminating the variations that appear at the ends of the garment in conventional folding machines. The parallel gauge with millimeter and inch markings and the side gauge complete a precise positioning system for serial production.
The adjustable reflector system, with a center-to-center distance of 20 to 820 mm, is ideal for a 3,000 mm machine where the variety of garment formats is at its maximum.
The floor-mounted format, a key difference from all other HRT tabletop models, greatly simplifies the loading, positioning, and removal of long and heavy workpieces: the operator works at ground level without needing to lift the material or use auxiliary supports for exceptionally large pieces. The HRT 300 is the only floor-mounted bending machine in the HRT range, a design decision that directly addresses the needs of the environments where it is installed. Weighing 175 kg and distributed across a 3,390 x 1,050 x 185 mm frame, the machine offers complete stability along its entire working length, preventing any deflection or vibration that could affect bending accuracy. The power output of up to 14 kW at 230 V guarantees the necessary heating capacity to uniformly heat 3000 mm of material of any thickness within the working range. This means that BERMAQ can adapt the machine configuration to specific customer requirements, whether in terms of power, number of lines, reflector configuration, or other parameters. This flexibility makes the HRT 300 not just a catalog machine, but a configurable solution for the most demanding industrial projects. The HRT 300 processes the same wide range of thermoplastics as the HRT 220 and HRT 125, with the added ability to work with formats up to 3,000 mm and a fold distance of up to 900 mm<<>
Methacrylate (PMMA): high optical quality material for signage, displays, and furniture; digital regulation ensures homogeneous heating along its entire length
Polycarbonate (PC): high impact-resistant engineering thermoplastic; suitable for large-format structural and protective parts
PETG: material with excellent formability and chemical resistance; ideal for industrial components and large-scale display elements
Polypropylene (PP): lightweight and fatigue-resistant material; Common in technical components, construction, and large-format industrial packaging.
Polystyrene (PS): for decorative and commercial applications; fine temperature control is especially important in large formats to prevent partial deformation.
PVC: standard material for large-format signage and lettering; Good performance in long bends and multiple lines
Internal preparation for expansion and configurability of technical values make the HRT 300 a platform that adapts to the current and future needs of any industrial installation:
heating1 lower line: starting point for production with single bending of long parts
Up to 4 lower lines: capacity for complex parts with multiple simultaneous bending lines, such as large boxes, complex elements

Ask for budget
When an industrial project requires bending methacrylate, polycarbonate, or other thermoplastic pieces in formats larger than 2,200 mm, the options available on the market are drastically reduced. The Shannon HRT 300 is the answer: with a 3,000 mm working length, floor-standing format, power up to 14 kW, and a distance between folds of up to 900 mm, it sets the upper limit of Shannon's range of manual bending machines and one of the largest capacities available in this segment on the European market.
For a company already operating an HRT 220 or evaluating which large-format model best suits its needs, the HRT 300 offers three advantages that no smaller model can match:
800 mm additional working length. decisive when the parts exceed the length of the HRT 220 and the alternative solution would be to make joints or buy special equipment. operation or not
Up to 14 kW of available power (vs 4 kW of the HRT 220): the additional power is needed to uniformly heat 3,000 mm of material in greater thicknesses or in fast cycle production
All bending machines in the HRT range (65, 125, 220) are table-mounted. The HRT 300 breaks with this model with its floor-standing format, an engineering decision with direct practical implications for the operator:
Parts of 3 m in length and up to 10 mm in thickness can weigh several tens of kilograms. Loading them onto a raised table involves significant physical effort and a risk of damage to both the operator and the material. The floor-mounted format radically eliminates this problem. Workpiece positioning is more intuitive and safer when the work surface is accessible from all angles without needing to lift the material. Integration into production lines is simpler, as the workpiece can enter and exit from the floor. The HRT 300 in the Shannon range of bending machines: HR 50: Single-line tabletop, up to 500 mm; HR for thin sheets and digital control; HRT 125: Modular table up to 1,250 mm, maximum material versatility; HRT 220: Modular table up to 2,200 mm, industrial. 300: Modular floor up to 3,000 mm, the maximum manual capacity in the range. HRK 125-I: Double-sided heating for greater thicknesses, digital display and memory. Automatic industrial folding machine for high-volume serial production. Custom manufacturing, distribution, and configuration. The Shannon HRT 300 is distributed through BERMAQ, specialists in machinery for processing plastics and lightweight materials. Given the weight (175 kg), dimensions, and configurability of this model's technical specifications, BERMAQ offers a personalized technical consultation service before purchase to ensure the machine is precisely tailored to the needs of each installation and project.
