CNC hot wire cutter for window insulation
The 300 C by Nettuno Sistemi is a CNC hot wire cutting machine developed specifically for companies that manufacture thermally insulated windows and doors. It cuts EPS blocks and XPS components to produce insulated roller shutter boxes, window monoblocks and custom thermal and acoustic insulation parts.
Its 1,400 x 1,250 mm cutting area with a 3,000 mm wire matches the real dimensions of the window and door sector, and its 4 independent axes let you adapt every part to new builds or renovation. It is also available as the 300C Plus version, with automatic wire tensioning and servo motors.

The 4 independent axes make it possible to cut different profiles on each side of the block and produce insulation elements in various sizes and shapes, tailored to the design requirements of new and existing buildings.
Stable temperature along the whole wire thanks to the microprocessor
The titanium wire, 0.25 to 0.40 mm in diameter, is regulated by an external potentiometer, and microprocessor current control keeps the temperature stable during cutting, regardless of mains fluctuations or changes in wire length during independent-axis cuts.
Nettuno Docker Cam to program multiple cuts in the block
The Nettuno Docker Cam interface, integrated into CorelDraw with the licence included, provides a single CAD/CAM environment for designing multiple, complex cuts in the polystyrene block. It imports DXF, DWG, EPS, AI, PDF, HPGL, PLT, WMF, SVG and STL, and the handheld keypad manages speed, pauses and axis positions right beside the machine.

Aluminium and steel frame for a 3-metre wire
The 300 C combines aluminium and steel in a sturdy 4,000 x 1,800 x 2,100 mm structure, sized to keep a 3,000 mm spring-tensioned wire taut and aligned throughout the production shift.
Compacmel Plus high-density wood fibre table
The Compacmel Plus work surface, a high-density wood fibre panel, provides a stable, even base for EPS and XPS blocks and for repeating cuts from the same reference.
Recirculating ball guides and toothed belts at 13 m/min
The X-Y axes run on recirculating ball guides and toothed belts, driven by stepper motors, at a maximum speed of 13 m/min with a movement accuracy of ±0.05 mm.

300C Plus version: computer-controlled automatic friction wire tensioning, wire that tilts up to the maximum diagonal and servo motors as standard.
Multiple wire harp: up to 20 titanium wires of 0.30 mm working in sync to produce identical parts in a single pass.
Vertical turntable: holds the block upright and sculpts it through 360° for decorative columns, spheres and architectural elements.
Shapeable wire: a carver for grooves on profiled shapes, ideal for details a straight wire cannot achieve.

The 300C Plus adds the friction tensioning system developed by Nettuno, which keeps wire tension constant and allows independent-axis cuts without misalignment limits, together with servo motors, anodised aluminium profiles and the Wedges software included.
An answer to the demand for energy efficiency in buildings
The need for buildings with proper thermal and acoustic insulation has led window and door companies to adapt their production. Combining external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) for façades with new window insulation systems reduces the heat losses caused by the old sub-frame. The 300 C was born from the continuous market demand for CNC pantographs to cut expanded and extruded polystyrene for this purpose.
