New solutions for technical plastic machining and acrylic and methacrylate edge polishing
At BERMAQ, we continue to focus on innovation and on developing solutions capable of meeting the needs of the plastics industry. With more than 40 years of experience in machinery design and manufacturing, we present our new catalogue, bringing together our range of CNC milling machines for plastic machining and edge polishing machines for acrylics and methacrylate.
A catalogue designed to showcase, in a single document, different technologies and configurations adapted to the needs of each production process.
CNC machining allows different operations to be performed on technical plastic materials with a high level of precision and repeatability. BERMAQ CNC milling machines are designed for operations such as cutting and contouring, surface milling, drilling and tapping, slotting, boring, 3D machining, trimming and chamfering.
Our range includes solutions with different capacities and configurations:
The LINK combines a compact design with high performance and is available with working areas of up to 4,000 mm in length and 2,000 mm in width. It can be equipped with milling motors of up to 15 kW and tool changers with between 8 and 16 positions.
Its enclosed design provides greater protection and lower noise levels while maintaining high performance across a wide range of materials.
For applications requiring greater versatility, the VISCOM-5X offers 3-, 4- and 5-axis configurations. The 5-axis configuration makes it possible to tackle the most demanding machining operations, while the 4- and 5-axis configurations facilitate the machining of complex shapes and parts with multiple faces.
With working lengths of up to 14,000 mm and motors of up to 18 kW, it is a solution designed for large-format production and high-speed machining.
The ROCKET is a CNC milling machine designed as a simple, robust and versatile solution for cutting, engraving and milling operations. With different working-area options and a 7.5 kW motor, it offers an alternative for a wide range of machining requirements.
The new HEXA, equipped with linear motors, is designed for high-speed machining and maximum precision. Its steel structure with anti-vibration concrete polymer provides rigidity and stability, while the frictionless transmission system on the X and Y axes reduces maintenance and wear.
Diamond polishing is one of BERMAQ’s key technologies for achieving smooth, transparent and glossy edges on materials such as PMMA, methacrylate, polycarbonate, PETG and other technical plastics. Unlike heat-based processes, diamond polishing is a cold mechanical process that helps maintain material stability and deliver consistent results.
The BERMAQ range of polishing machines is suitable for both industrial production and workshops looking for a compact and versatile solution.
The AMi-C is a CNC polishing machine developed to meet the demands of acrylic and plastic polishing. It features a touchscreen interface with preconfigured programmes, an automatic tilting head and different options to facilitate the processing of large-format parts.
Available with working lengths of 2,100 and 3,100 mm, it allows different polishing angles and can process parts up to 120 mm thick in a straight position. It also uses original BERMAQ diamond tools to achieve transparent, glossy and smooth finishes.
For intensive production, the AMi-C TITAN incorporates 20 independent clamps and the HIGH GLOSS tool system, designed to achieve a super-gloss finish with high levels of productivity and repeatability.
The AM2-i is a semi-automatic polishing machine especially suitable for plastics, PMMA and soft materials. Its tilting head allows work from 90° to +45°, while the automatic depth adjustment ensures precise and intuitive operation.
With a working length of 1,400 mm and the capacity to process parts up to 120 mm thick at 90°, it is a balanced solution for different polishing applications.
For workshops and smaller-format applications, the AMT offers a practical and easy-to-handle solution. This benchtop machine can polish acrylic and methacrylate edges and produce bevels of up to 60°.
Its tilting table and compact dimensions make it particularly suitable for manufacturing displays, decorative elements and stand components.
The BOX-One is a compact polishing machine designed for 90° polishing of methacrylate, polycarbonate, aluminium, alucobond, resins and other non-ferrous materials. Its clamping system allows several parts to be processed simultaneously in a single pass, reducing manual work and production times.
Meanwhile, PRISMA Mini is specialised in beveling and edge polishing at 44° and 45°. It is a benchtop solution particularly suitable for small-scale production of displays, trophies, signs and decorative components, as well as acrylic boxes and cases.
Machine technology is only part of the result. At BERMAQ, we design and manufacture our own diamond tools, ensuring perfect compatibility between machine and tool while pursuing the highest quality in every polishing process.
We offer different tools to suit various materials and finishes, including solutions for roughing, transparent finishing, matt finishing, polycarbonate and extruded materials.
From a CNC milling machine for machining complex parts to a compact polishing machine for small workshops or an industrial solution for intensive production, the new BERMAQ range offers different alternatives for working with technical plastics and acrylic materials.
With more than 40 years of experience, over 1,300 machines installed and a presence in more than 45 countries, we continue to develop technology focused on improving precision, productivity and finishing quality.
