SG-A 5-Axis CNC Milling Machine for Aluminum
The SG-A is a 5-axis CNC machining center specially designed for high-speed machining of technical materials such as aluminum, titanium, composites, and resins. Thanks to its overhead guidance system and modular structure, it utilizes its entire footprint as a usable area, making it the ideal solution for machining large parts.

The SG-A has been designed to meet the most demanding machining processes in advanced industrial sectors:

With travels of +/-105° on the A-axis and +/-245° on the C-axis, the SG-A machines complex parts in a single clamping position. It incorporates direct encoders, pneumatic brakes, and a dual servomotor transmission in master-slave mode for maximum stability and repeatability throughout the entire travel range.
With a working length of up to 1000.00. With a Z-axis working height of up to 2,000 mm, the SG-A can machine large-format parts with the same efficiency and precision as standard-sized parts.
The SG-A incorporates pressurized linear scales, RMP60 stick probes, a RENISHAW NC4 laser tool measuring probe, a 12-tool linear tool changer, and an automatic lubrication system with integrated suction. It achieves accuracies down to 0.03 mm.
Available with HEIDENHAIN iTNC 640 or SIEMENS 840D SL, for controlling simultaneous 5-axis processes and operator control.
Aluminum requires a machine capable of combining high speed, rigidity, and precision. The 24 kW milling head, with 1,200 Nm of torque on the A and C axes, allows for rapid roughing and high-quality finishing in a single operation, significantly reducing the number of cycles required to complete a part.
The SG-A features a fully enclosed housing with an integrated extraction system, climate-controlled electrical panel, and VIP4TOOL cooling equipment, optimized for continuous production.
