6-axis CNC hot wire foam cutter
The INFINITY SNIPER is the most complete CNC hot wire cutting machine in the Nettuno Sistemi Sniper series. The result of years of experience in polystyrene processing, it handles everything from filigree letters and mouldings to insulation panels over 4 metres long with a single machine.
Its adjustable wire from 1,300 to 4,200 mm, 6 independent servo-driven axes and ±0.05 mm accuracy are complemented by a vertical lathe, horizontal lathe and shapeable wire included as standard.
BERMAQ distributes the machine and provides advice, training and technical service.

The versatility of the INFINITY SNIPER makes it possible to tackle diametrically opposed projects without changing equipment, from small, delicate 3D shapes to large-format industrial components:

Six independent axes and lathes included as standard
The INFINITY SNIPER works with 6 independent axes driven by servo motors at speeds of up to 13 m/min. It comes as standard with the vertical lathe (turntable), the horizontal lathe and the shapeable wire (Carver), so cones, spheres, twisted columns and sculptures can be produced without further investment.
Adjustable wire from 1,300 to 4,200 mm
The length of the titanium wire can be set between 1,300 and 4,200 mm, with diameters from 0.25 to 0.50 mm. The same machine can cut small foam letters with a fine wire and, straight afterwards, large polystyrene blocks with the wire at full length.
Microprocessor-managed wire temperature
The temperature is programmed before each cut and a microprocessor keeps it constant even with sudden changes in tension or variations in wire length. The PC-controlled automatic tensioner allows the wire to reach maximum inclination between the axes with no restrictions.
Operator station with Dell HMI and Nettuno software
The machine is supplied with an operator console, Dell HMI, wireless handheld keypad and side benches. The CorelDraw licence integrates with Nettuno Docker CAM to design and generate toolpaths in a single environment that imports formats such as DXF, DWG, AI, PDF, SVG and STL. The Wedges module creates curved slice cuts from a DXF plan.

Rail-mounted sliding structure for cuts over 4 metres
The gantry, built from milled steel and anodised aluminium profiles, glides smoothly on rails, making it possible to extend the working area and perform cuts over 4 metres long. The machine switches quickly from industrial cycles to detailed cutting set-ups.
Greater wire inclination for cones and tapered parts
By reducing the size of the main structure and mounting it on rails fixed to the floor, the wire reaches a greater inclination than on fixed-structure machines, equivalent to the diagonal of the system. This makes it possible to cut EPS cones and tapered shapes that are hard to achieve on a standard machine.
Sliding table and double recirculating ball guides
The X axis is driven by gear racks with double recirculating ball guides and the Y axis by lead screws. The Compacmel Plus sliding table runs on guides so a new block can be loaded effortlessly, and offers a perfectly level surface for precise cuts.

Multi-wire cutting and adaptive speed for large batches
Multiple wire harp: cuts a block with up to 20 wires at once to produce identical parts in series.
Vertical, horizontal or oblique harp position: wire spacing adjustable on a metric scale, with tension managed by the automatic tensioner.
Clevel: system patented by Nettuno Sistemi that adapts the feed rate to the density of the block in real time.
Standard kit included: vertical lathe, horizontal lathe and shapeable wire, all combinable with these options.
