The EURO-PX is a BERMAQ 3-axis CNC milling machine designed for high-speed machining of polystyrene, foams, wood and resins. Its dedicated polystyrene motor with internal extraction and its hollow tools remove chips through the spindle itself, leaving clean surfaces.

The low-height bed makes it easy to load and work on medium-sized parts, making it an ideal machine for model makers, pattern makers and set design and signage workshops.

The EURO-PX is designed for professionals who turn blocks of polystyrene, foam, wood or resin into three-dimensional parts with a clean finish, through a fast process without breakage:

3 kW motor with internal extraction designed for polystyrene

The EURO-PX comes as standard with a 3 kW (4 hp) motor dedicated to polystyrene work, with a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm and internal extraction. Chips are removed during machining, so the cutting area stays clean and the operator can check the result at all times.

Hollow hardened-steel tools for low-pressure cutting

The hollow tools in special hardened steel have a geometry optimised for polystyrene and soft and hard foams. They cut quickly with little pressure, prevent breakage even on the finest details and channel chips through the hollow shaft, delivering clean surfaces in high-volume production.

+/-90º swivelling motor for angled cuts

The motor can be tilted manually up to +/-90º, extending the possibilities of the 3-axis machine to work on sides, chamfers and inclined faces of the model.

SIEMENS 840-D PC-based control and automatic lubrication

The SIEMENS 840-D numerical control mounted on a PC runs the machining program reliably, and automatic lubrication reduces daily maintenance tasks.

Low bed for effortless block loading

The low-height bed makes it easy to place and remove polystyrene or foam blocks and to access the part comfortably during work, a key advantage when machining medium-sized parts repeatedly.

1,500 mm wide working area and 750 mm in Z

With a working area of 2,500 or 3,500 x 1,500 mm and a 750 mm Z axis, the EURO-PX accepts thick blocks and models of considerable volume in a single set-up.

Phenolic resin table with T-slots

The T-slotted phenolic resin table allows fixtures and blocks to be clamped quickly and securely, and makes it easy to repeat the same working position across series of models.
