Description

The Mammut hot-wire polystyrene cutting machine offers a wide and versatile cutting area, with dimensions of 3020 mm on the X-axis, 1250 mm on the Y-axis, and a Z-axis that varies from 1300 to 4500 mm.

Thanks to these features, combined with its modular sliding structure on high-precision guides anchored to the floor, the machine can be quickly expanded, allowing the cutting of polystyrene blocks up to 4500 mm in length.

For this reason, it is especially suitable for projects that require great flexibility and precision. Mammut thus becomes the ideal partner for those who want to create—and above all, dare—with polystyrene.

Thanks to the standard vertical turntable, the Cream 200 hot-wire cutter enables the creation of 3D shapes, both symmetrical and asymmetrical forms, spheres, columns, angled cuts, and three-dimensional machining in general, offering complete freedom to achieve the desired shape.

Wireless keypad
All Nettuno Sistemi CNC machines come equipped with a wireless keypad, allowing operations such as jogging movement, play/pause/stop, speed adjustment, lathe rotation, and axis dimension checks.

Friction wire traction
The Mammut CNC polystyrene cutting machine is equipped with an automatic “friction wire traction” system, developed in-house by Nettuno. This system enables unlimited wire tilting, reaching the maximum diagonal.

Thanks to the high wire tilt angle, which can reach the system’s maximum diagonal, the polystyrene cutting machine can perform extremely complex cuts that are impossible to execute with traditional machinery.
