CNC milling machines and precision acrylic polishers

OUR QUALITY IS YOUR SUCCESS

Over 40 years of experience in the service of technological innovation. We are a leading company in the design and manufacture of CNC machinery, driven by our passion for transforming ideas and work needs into cutting-edge solutions.

High-precision CNC routers and acrylic polishing machines

Medium- and large-format CNC routers — in-house design and manufacturing since 1983

BERMAQ manufactures CNC routers for all types of non-ferrous technical materials, as well as diamond-tool edge polishing machines for acrylic and PMMA. The company is also an official distributor of Shannon bending machines for thermoplastic sheets and Nettuno, a manufacturer of hot-wire CNC cutting machines for expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS). If you are looking for a 3- or 5-axis CNC router or a customised machining centre, our technical team can help you determine the right machine configuration before requesting a quotation.

Designed and manufactured in-house, from start to finish

Every CNC router and machining centre is designed, manufactured and assembled at our own facilities, using components sourced from European suppliers. We don't sell off-the-shelf machines from third-party manufacturers. We build the machines we deliver and take full responsibility for them throughout their service life, wherever they are installed.

Leaders in acrylic and PMMA edge polishing machines

With extensive experience in the technical plastics industry, BERMAQ manufactures a wide range of edge polishing machines for acrylic and PMMA components. Discover the benefits of diamond-tool polishing with our compact benchtop models and large-format polishing machines.

Official Spanish distributor for Shannon and Nettuno

As a trusted partner for companies working in plastics processing, BERMAQ offers a wide range of thermoplastic sheet bending machines, as well as CNC hot-wire cutting machines for expanded and extruded polystyrene (EPS and XPS). BERMAQ has been the official distributor of both brands in Spain for decades, providing expert support and complete peace of mind.

Applications

CNC machining centres by industry

From visual communications to aerospace, each industry has its own dedicated section featuring the machine models best suited to its specific requirements.

Manufacturing experience

CNC machinery manufacturer with in-house engineering and development

Buying from a manufacturer isn't the same as buying from a middleman. It changes who designs the machine, who knows it inside out, and who's there to service it years later.

Fully in-house manufacturing

Design, machining, assembly and commissioning, all carried out under one roof using components from European suppliers. We know exactly what goes into every machine because we have built it from the ground up, component by component.

In-house R&D department

A dedicated team of engineers focused on the continuous development of our machines, control systems and kinematics. This enables us to take on projects beyond our standard range and build bespoke machines tailored to specific requirements.

Diamond tooling

Our diamond polishing technology has made BERMAQ a trusted name in the finishing of acrylic edges. In-house technology and tooling that you simply won't find on a generic imported machine.

40+ years of machines in production

We have been manufacturing machines since 1983. Some BERMAQ machines installed in the 1980s are still running today, and we continue to supply spare parts and retrofitting services to extend their working life.

We modernise machines and upgrade their components, while also offering fully refurbished used equipment.

Choose quality. Choose BERMAQ.

Three ways to add a CNC machine to your workshop

Not every project starts from the same point. Some require a standard machine configuration with a short lead time, others call for a machine that doesn't yet exist on the market, while others need a more cost-effective way to get started. We also supply diamond tooling and consumables for all three options.

Standard machine

Standard machine

A standard configuration from any of our four product ranges, tailored to the material and format you need. It's the fastest option: the machine platform is already defined and proven, so lead times are significantly shorter.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about industrial CNC machines

What are the main structural differences between a CNC router for heavy-duty metalworking and one designed for woodworking?
Metal milling machines need an extremely rigid structure, usually cast iron, to withstand cutting forces and absorb vibration. They use high-torque, low-speed spindles and flood coolant. Wood routers prioritise work area and travel speed: aluminium or welded steel structures, high-speed spindles and critical dust extraction systems instead of liquid coolant.
When does a 5-axis configuration make more sense than a 3-axis machine?
5 axes are essential for complex geometries, undercuts or sculpted surfaces, common in aerospace, automotive and mould-making. They allow the part to be machined in a single setup, drastically reducing setup downtime and improving accuracy by eliminating manual repositioning error. If your parts only require perpendicular planes, a 3-axis machine with an indexed fourth axis is usually far more cost-effective.
    Does BERMAQ manufacture bespoke machines?
Yes. Our R&D department develops specific configurations when the catalogue doesn't cover the client's process: special formats, particular heads, loading automation or integration with existing lines. We usually start from one of our platforms and adapt it.
    Why choose diamond polishing?
Diamond-tool polishing leaves the edge of methacrylate and other technical plastics fully transparent and satin-finished in a single pass, with no need for prior sanding. Because we manufacture both the polishers and the tools ourselves, we guarantee a 100% precise fit between them, resulting in a higher-quality, faster finish at a lower cost than other edge-finishing methods.
What type of CNC router is needed for machining aluminium?
Aluminium requires a milling machine with a rigid, robust structure, high-speed spindles and enough torque to maintain precision on profiles, sheets and complex parts, plus a good cooling system to dissipate the heat generated during cutting. BERMAQ CNC milling machines for aluminium mill, drill, groove and cut with tight tolerances, adapting to sectors such as construction, transport or automotive.
    Do you sell used machines?
Yes. We restore machines to optimum working condition and have fully refurbished used equipment ready for production. You can check availability in the used machines section.
